HEV
HEV is the abbreviation of Hybrid Electric Vehicle, meaning hybrid vehicle, which refers to a hybrid vehicle between gasoline and electricity.
The HEV model is equipped with an electric drive system on the traditional engine drive for hybrid drive, and its main power source relies on the engine. But adding a motor can reduce the need for fuel.
Generally, the motor relies on the motor to drive at the start or low speed stage. When accelerating suddenly or encountering road conditions such as climbing, the engine and motor work together to provide power to drive the car. This model also has an energy recovery system that can recharge the battery through this system when braking or going downhill.
For example, Chinese cars BYD Song/Geely/Lynk 01 all have this version.
BEV
BEV, short for EV, the English abbreviation of BaiBattery Electrical Vehicle, is pure electric. Pure electric vehicles use batteries as the entire power source of the vehicle and rely only on the power battery and drive motor to provide driving power for the vehicle. It is mainly composed of chassis, body, power battery, drive motor, electrical equipment and other systems.
Pure electric vehicles can now run up to about 500 kilometers, and ordinary household electric vehicles can run more than 200 kilometers. Its advantage is that it has high energy conversion efficiency, and can achieve truly zero exhaust emissions and no noise. The disadvantage is that its biggest shortcoming is battery life.
The main structures include a power battery pack and a motor, which are equivalent to the fuel tank and engine of a traditional car.
For example, Chinese automakers BYD Han EV/Tang EV, NIO ES6/NIO EC6, Xpeng P7/G3, Lixiang One
PHEV
PHEV is the English abbreviation of Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle. It has two independent power systems: a traditional engine and an EV system. The main power source is the engine as the main source and the electric motor as the supplement.
It can charge the power battery through the plug-in port and drive in pure electric mode. When the power battery is out of power, it can drive as a normal fuel vehicle through the engine.
The advantage is that the two power systems exist independently. It can be driven as a pure electric vehicle or as an ordinary fuel vehicle when there is no power, avoiding the trouble of battery life. The disadvantage is that the cost is higher, the selling price will also increase, and charging piles must be installed like pure electric models.
For example, Chinese cars BYD Tang /Song Plus DM/Geely/Lynk 06/Changan CS75 PHEV.
REEV
REEV is a range-extended electric vehicle. Like pure electric vehicles, it is powered by a power battery and an electric motor drives the vehicle. The difference is that range-extended electric vehicles have an additional engine system.
When the power battery is discharged, the engine will start to charge the battery. When the battery is charged, it can continue to drive the vehicle. It is easier to confuse it with HEV. The REEV engine does not drive the vehicle. It only generates electricity and charges the power battery, and then uses the battery to provide power to drive the motor to drive the vehicle.
For example, China’s lixiang One/Wuling Hongguang MINIEV (extended range version).
In Kazakhstan, a country located in the center of Eurasia, the automobile market is gradually opening up, and consumers have a high demand for SUVs and sedans. Chinese automobile brands are gradually gaining recognition in the local market. Changan Automobile is widely popular for its high cost performance and large space suitable for family use. Geely Boyue is widely popular among young consumers for its modern design and rich configuration.
Uzbekistan’s automobile market is relatively mature, and consumers have a strong demand for cost-effective models. Chinese brands such as Great Wall, Geely and Dongfeng have performed well in the market.
Kyrgyzstan’s auto market has a high demand for used cars, and also has a certain demand for cost-effective Chinese brands.
The five Central Asian countries have shown great interest in importing Chinese cars, mainly because Chinese cars have advantages in cost-effectiveness, technological innovation and diversified choices, which meet the needs of local consumers and dealers. As an automobile merchant with first-hand sources, we can provide high-quality Chinese cars and help customers in the Central Asian market obtain more competitive products, thereby promoting cooperation and development between the two sides.
